Pendleton West Rm 111
Registration opens Mon., Feb. 28, 2011
In this workshop, you will work with glazed ceramic pieces, called “tesserae”, to design and assemble your own mosaic. You can choose to design your own original mosaic design, or you can look to masterfully constructed ancient Greek and Roman mosaics for inspiration. The handmade, colorful glazed tiles we will be using this workshop provides a simple way to explore shape and pattern. At this workshop you’ll be able to create your own wall panel or tabletop mosaic to take home.
