Workshop Description
Workshop participants will choose to work with one of the three simple bag patterns provided by the instructor. Participants may choose to bring and use their stenciled fabric from the previous  “Fabric Stenciling” workshop. (You will need at least one yard.)  Bags may be assembled by machine and/or hand sewing.   Embellishment techniques including appliqué, embroidery, beading, etc. may be added if time permits.

Instructor Biography
Antoinette Winters has had a long association with textile arts.   Following college, she returned to the Boston area and enrolled in numerous fiber arts classes at the Massachusetts College of Arts & Design.   Shortly thereafter, she became one of the founding members of Print & Dyeworks, a fiber arts cooperative studio in Somerville, MA.   The organization hosted workshops and lectures, and maintained a studio in which members had access to full scale printing and dyeing facilities.  Currently, Antoinette teaches courses in Fiber Arts at Concord Academy, Concord, MA, and maintains a studio in the Waltham Mills Artist Association in Waltham, MA.
