Pinhole Cameras

Workshop Description
In this hands on workshop, participants will build large format pinhole cameras out of household materials and digital slr cameras. Participants will learn how to create both paper and film negatives using their homemade cameras and will leave with a camera and prints

Instructor Biography
jen barrows is the Technology Support Specialist for the Jewett Arts Center at Wellesley College. jen holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University where she primarily worked in photography and video performance. Her current body of work deals with the formation of the American identity through the lens of pop culture including Nascar, Rocky Balboa, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
