This workshop is intended to expose artists to the basics of the Trotec Laser Cutter. We will delve into the setup and safe operation of the Trotec Laser Cutter, through vector cutting and raster engraving using Corel Draw. By the end of the session you will be able to use the laser cutter on your own, with minimal supervision, to cut or engrave wood or acrylic. Bring your own vector drawing to cut during the session. We recommend you have basic familiarity with at least one vector-based software package, such as Adobe Illustrator or Autodesk AutoCAD.
